It’s been a lifetime finding something that this applies to. I have felt devoted to many things and people, yet, it’s all so fleeting, I have questioned my true understanding of the word. The one steady in my life has been the art of artifice, in particular the human form – this is my devotion; dolls, portraits, figural representations as filtered through my little lens at the edge of a large collective.
I left my facebook page to devote myself to the art of poppets and Santos, and dolls, and marionettes – I have returned to this format and apologize for my folly in documentation of artifice as only a site devoted to a particular can do.
